1. Creating Your Account

Sign up for your free Links DNA account to get started with link tracking:

1. Click "Sign Up" in the top navigation
2. Enter your email and create a secure password
3. Choose your plan (start with Basic for free)
4. Verify your email address
5. Complete your profile setup

Start tracking clicks by creating your first shortened link:

1. Go to your Dashboard and click "Create Link"
2. Enter the original URL you want to track
3. Add a descriptive name for easy identification
4. Configure tracking options based on your plan
5. Click "Create Link" to generate your short URL

Basic Metrics

Every plan includes these essential tracking metrics:

• Total Clicks: The number of times your link has been clicked
• Unique Visitors: Individual users who clicked your link
• Click Timestamps: When each click occurred

AI recommendations appear in your dashboard and analytics pages:

Setting Up Custom Variables

Track custom data with your links for detailed campaign analysis:

1. When creating a link, scroll to "Custom Variables"
2. Add variable names (e.g., "campaign", "source", "medium")
3. Set placeholder values for reference
4. Use your link with custom parameters: yourdomain.com/abc123?campaign=summer&source=email

CSV Export Process

Export your analytics data for external analysis:

1. Go to your link's analytics page
2. Click the "Export CSV" button
3. The file will download with all available data
4. Open in Excel, Google Sheets, or any data analysis tool
